West Brom's centre back pairing last night were the first choice.. like they play in the Premiership!? I never realised Godwin Antwi was one of triplets.

In fact apart from the keeper the full side was!

Not wanting to take anything away from our magnificent performance but they're fooked aren't they!!? Derby County anyone?

it doesnt really detract from our performance. they proved they are the best the championship have to offer last season, and have since 'improved' the squad. So at worst, we hammered the best team outside the Premiership

It doesn't take anything away from our performance at all but you normally see more of an obvious difference in quality we matched them all over the field. I mean they've actually spent money that lad in midfield cost nearly £5,000,000 and the centre back Meite is proven in the top flight with Bolton and cost £2,000,000. In fact the starting eleven was assembled at way over £20,000,000!!!

Is the Premiership as over hyped as we all suspected? Too fooking right it is clappp

they made 6 changes from the team that started in the premier league at the weekend.

theres no way the likes of brunt and kiely are first team players. the whole team were going through the motions for me.

hardly anyone takes the league cup seriously anymore.

Brunt played on Saturday, one of the lads that came in was a near £5,000,000 signing. The players who came will either be on the bench or play for them this season, Bendnar scored against Everton and the likes of Beattie who was only sub on Saturday didn't start last night. The only time they looked like they were going through the motions to me was at 3-1 and a beaten bunch of overpaid rarfs.

How has Jonathon Greening played at a high level for so long by the way?

So if, for example, we finished tenth this season and won the League Cup, you'd grumble?
