A good night, hilarious to stuff them 6-0 but a great night........ naw. On the scale of great days it doesn't even register when compared to the likes of Cardiff. Yes we lost but it wasn't just about the result, it was about little 'artlepool playing in front of 60 odd thousand people and almost doing the unthinkable. A bit like the 4-3 Man Utd game before most of us were born.

Oh aye, the result stands no question and I seem to remember Ferguson mentioned it in his autobiography. (Alex not Sarah)

And Mr Kent, you genuinely radiate some kind of optimistic autism. As much as I like your attitude, I do wonder if your head is permanently in the clouds in real life as well as usually. Sometimes you don't even know the ramifications of the things you are posting that seem to get you into all kinds of scrapes... that credit crunch line was a belter, you blatantly haven't earned proper money in your entire life rolfl

I think you'll find Sarah mentioned it too, i recall reading of her her disapointment at missing the fourth goal as she was squatting to take a pee behind the rink end.

its great to beat a prem side in the cup but there wasnt anything massive at stake. and i wouldnt put it ahead of the palace win simply because the palace game was the f.a. cup and the eagles had a few england internationals and big time charlies in their line up. the baggies on the other hand had nobody noteworthy playing for them last night. they looked and played like an average championship side.

Haway though Chip - it was a great achievement - & may well be the best Pools performance we see this season. They may have been "disinterested" but their quality showed, particularly in the first 15-20 minutes
