Absolutley amazing.
Not the best moment of the weekend but only behind a small number (RATM, The Subways, Metallica, Tenacious D, BFMV not to mention our gas stove setting fire)
Ok definately above the last one
Could well be on a much higher stage this time next year.

RATM were by a long way the best band of the weekend.
Sound was a bit shiite for the first half hour but when it was sorted they were amazing.
Shame to say it but we wont see them live again.
Im pretty sure of it.

For headliners though they only did a short set (as did The Killers). They did about 80 minutes which included a break to ask the crowd to step back. Headliners should do 90 minutes minimum in my opinion.

They were given 90 minutes, then had to stop for that, plus the start was delayed due to the sound problems.
The length of their set does not in any way reduce their credentials as the band of the weekend.

I arrived a t Leeds on Wednesday & had people constantly telling me how they couldnt wait for rage against the machine,I was working on the viewing platform Saturday night so had no option but to watch them & I have to say they were nothing special at all.

I would say my highlights were

Louis XIV
The Kills
Cage The Elephant
Last Shadow Puppets
Frank Turner
Lethal Bizzle

Nothing from the main stage.
I worked on the main stage viewing platform from 5pm onwards Saturday & Sunday evenings & the sound was that poor its a bit unfair to call anyone crap as it was impossible to be any good playing on there..My favourites on the main stage were The Raconteurs, but due to the crap sound even they were nothing special.
I feel for the RATM fanatics as I think they were badly let down, more by the festival than the band, there were a lot like myself who werent into RATM but watched them because of reccomendations & thought they were nothing special

Frank Turner I agree with
Lethal Bizzle seemed like i was the only one in there who wasnt drugged up

I really felt for the other members of the rascals (Miles Kane's other band) who had to put up with chants for alex turner and fro age of the understatement
