had to pack it in as foot is well and truly goosed - even off to the quacks to get it looked at

Trapper jnr is back training now so unavailable (trains 2 nights + sat and sun)

I however would be available any night,except Tues and Wed , and weekends depending on where jnr is playing

Although BP isn't fit, there is a possibility that two young Billingham Poolies will be available to play. As our computer is currently out of action, someone will have to contact us via phone to let us know if it is still going ahead.

What happened last night

BP turned up with 2 young Billinghams in tow, only to find there was no-one there. Admittedly they were a couple of minutes late but there was no-one around, and the man on the door said that two or three had turned up a bit earlier but then left.

we waited till 5 past 9 and we only had 6 so had to make an executive decision and abandon ship

Had we known they were coming we would have waited.

It was a monumental cock up from the start. Something needs to change in how we organise these wednesday nights.

It hasn't helped with BP not having internet access which is obviously not his fault but had we known there was definitely only going to be 8 last night we could have called it off.

We're up and running again with our PC again. Sorry about Wednesday night, it was about 5 past as we arrived, if Jonny had got himself ready when I told him too we would have been on time! The two lads are still up for it for this week, and I will make sure we get out early enough to be on time this week.

Got a knee right through my thigh last night, hurting like buggery (so PK tells me) at the moment, can hardly move my leg without sharp pains at the moment so unless I get an overnight miracle recovery I probably won't be there.

I'm still optimistic that once everybody's summer holidays are out of the way we'll be back up to a better regular contingent.

My only problem with tomorrow night is that I didn't expect, request or enjoy taking a knee full force in the thigh last night.

If that doesn't happen in the next few weeks then you may unfortunately be correct in wanting to ditch it though.

I say knock it on the head after this one, then in another month see what numbers are like and see if we can start it up again.

I have not been able to log in under my user name for over a month, hence no posts on whether or not I could attend each week. However, I duly informed Tax Payer of my unavailability each time so I should not have been included in any "no shows" on numbers.

The reason for my absence is an injury which is causing my problems even walking and despite physio 3 times a week, does not seem to be clearing up. So I will be unavailable until such time I can walk properly, without any pain.
