... since I haven't seem them in action.

It sounds to me that we need a keeper, a right back, a left back, a right sided midfielder and an extra striker.

Now why does that sound familiar

IOR need to spend some dosh now!!! Its no good complaining about attendances etc.. because we are going to struggle this season and the crowds aren't going to get any bigger.
The limitations of the squad are plain to see and we need some real quality to help turn a game.

For once I feel a little sorry for wilson although his signing of Richie Jones is a bit dubious at this time though I suppose you can only play with what the chairman gives you, if he was that good i'm sure man utd would have wanted a fee for him.

Anyway yesterday, Liddle in my eyes is not the answer in midfield, swap him with sweeeny, put Jones in the middle also which is what he is supposed to be a central midfielder.

Keep with brown and porter, i'm still sure we will score goals but i'd have used Mackay as a sub yesterday considering he got 2 in midweek for the ressies and i'd have also brought matty on, monky just didn't do enough down the left hand side.

but do Jones or Power offer any more than young Rowell.

We seem to have a good youth system, but the youngsters who come through it are not getting a chance in the first team squad

From what i've heard of Rowell i'd definitely look at giving him a start for the Johnstones Paint game.

all I know is, football is an expensive caper these days and if a team struggles on the pitch, it's an easy financial decision to make to not turn up to watch a losing side. Pools will suffer worse than most in this division if the team doesn't shape up, and at least look like they will steer clear of a relegation fight.
If we lose Tuesday and then Saturday, the pressure will build again on the manager to get it right.

We dont, like.

We could do with a better keeper granted. BUT ALB played well yesterday.

We need players that can come off the bench and influence the game. SInce IOR have been here we have always had players that can do that.

We havent now.

Whats the point in signing players to sit on the bench?
