No, he shouldn't have gone, he's now a disgrace to the Olympic values, his country, his sport and his family.

If you don't like a decision from a taekwando judge, you should protest the British way and complain - you get a bronze medal there.

Saw the Chinese in uproar whilst in Currys, yesterday. Disgracefiul scenes, but hats off to Sarah Stevenson for fighting on through the pain and the adversity. Top lass.

Moral to the wise: NEVER KICK A TAEKWANDO JUDGE IN THE MOUTH !!!!!!!!

Oh, get off your soap box ffs! The corrupt chinese officials are the biggest disgrace of the olympics. The bloke had every right to kick the over zealous twat in the mouth. I would have done the same. A lot of the refs in the football league should be subject to suchlike. It may well help bring an end to some of the crazy decisions that they come out with. The judges who 'missed' that kick to the head yesterday in the womens fight should be banned for life. Also the judges who did the boxing final earlier and blatantly gave the match to the chinese fighter rather than the Irish lad should face a public flogging. Corrupt twats they are

Alright, competitors get screwed by referees decisions sometimes. If there's any club that has a history of this sort of thing then it's ours (Cardiff 2005, QPR, Southend and Stockport 08), but society teaches us that we use this to inspire us in future games.

KICKING A REFEREE IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE -We may not like the descion they've made but we have to accept it because there's nothing else we can do.

I've felt frustarted like you - I still want to send a strongly-worded letter to the prat from Orpington who sent Westwood off at the Play-Off Final, but my temeperance teaches me to calm myself.

I saw the replay of the winning "kick" by our girl Stevenson on a HD Widescreen television in Currys and it was the sort of kick that even if you had a handheld TV, yolu could still clearly see that she KICKED her opponent. But I didn't act up when complaining, neither did the British officials, and eventually justice was done to the girl, regardless of her having GBR on the back of her taekwando suit.

We should forget that incident now (both the takwando and Pools) and especially with the taekwando, I sincerely hope that that bronze will inspire others to take it up and win more medals for us.

Fook me you're like the Mahatma Ghandi of the bunker.

Kicking a referee is as funny as fuck. I'd have loved Westy to have gone all Cantona on him, he was going to Walsall anyway.

The problem is that these referees are never answerable to anyone so it cant really come as a surprise if sportsmen/players and in some cases fans take matters into their own hands. That twat who sent westy off should have been subject to an enquiry as should that stockport official but we all nkow that it will be brushed under the carpet as we are not Man Utd. If the only way to get some justice sometimes is to attack a corrupt/incompetent official then so be it as far as im concerned.

I dont think many people will have had much sympathy for the referee in that Taikwondo fight. It made my day when I saw it. That cuban guy will have trained for years, why should it be 'for nothing'. At least he can go home in the knowledge that he kicked the bounder in the mouth.

Yeah, but now he's lost the chnace forecer to win an Olympic medal and achieve the very highest accolade and honour in his sport, a chance to become a hero to many people in his country, now he will be a villain forver.

At least Craig Pickering (relay runner who went too early) has the chance to go from zero to hero and earn redemption in our host city in 4 years for himself and others.
