I think I must have been at a different game from you lot

I saw a very entertaining game, during which we played some good football and were thwarted by a keeper having the game of his life! He pulled off some miracle saves, without him we could have been about 4 up. Some players were below par yes, but from the way you lot are talking we got tonked

And as for some dickhead on the Millhouse terrace booing Barker before he even got on the pitch......... It's pathetic!!!!! How is that supporting the team?

The ref was dire, he missed a handball in their box, and they scored in the 94th minute during 2 minutes of added on time!!!!

Now I don't like Wilson, but I have seen a 100% improvement over the end of last season - is 7 goals in two games not enough for you!!!!

I agree with all that, but still the subs left me a little bemused.

It looks like Wislon has now found hes best 11, perhaps the next task is to find hes best 16.

Nice one Mr Cowboy,That's more like it some one with a bit of sense clappp clappp clappp

We've tortured Colchester, tortured Scunthorpe, didn't deserve to lose away to Tranmere and but for missed chances would have beat them aswel, and on the overall game today we played Stockport off the pitch, I don't think we were unlucky, but we were up against 11 men behind the ball for 90 minutes and there goalie pulled off 3 or 4 great saves otherwise today would have been an even easier victory than the other two.We got caught right at the end but who was really surprised, that always happens (and not just to us) after a team has dominated a game so much.

It's hard to get a strong bench in this division Mr Chip, cos if they're good enough to play they'll be off to play for some one else.
I don't think you're going to get much better quality on the bench than Foley and Robson, neither of them quite good enough to hold down a starting place for any one for any length of time, but can make an impact as a sub, Barkers a good un, but he's not going to stay much longer on the bench, Mr ADG reckons Powers a world beater, Mcunnies is probably just waiting on another poor game from Sweeney and he'll be starting.
If Sweeney, Jones, Monkhouse, and Liddle (although Bolands injury might have given him a repreive) don't start to shape up we might soon have a bench of Barker, Sweeney, Monkhouse, Jones, Liddle, then what would there be to complain about sctatchinghead

Why are people happy with playing well but getting beat?

We did this all last season and im pretty sure if it carries on we will go down. But im sure these numpties wont care cos we played well and SHOULD have won every game? sctatchinghead

Chip- who cares that we have only won 2 in 9 games? we SHOULD have won all 9 so theres no problem!!

Neither Power nor Jones do it for me - average at best

Midfield seems to be a problem & could do with strenghening, we seem to be scoring plenty so up front seems ok - as does the defence for the first 87 minutes (2 goals conceded at the last kick of the game is VERY worrying) & despite a considerable improvement I would still MUCH prefer Dimi in goal than ALB

yeah and we can make the bench stronger by dropping first team players and putting them there.

indeed if we drop porter brown collins and nelson the bench will be superb.

I beat you to it Mr Chip, and if these first team regulars don't pull their weight the bench is where they'll end up, cos Danny Boy won't be afraid to drop them clappp

Who's bench at this level isn't weak, like I've already said I don't think Barker will hang around much longer on the bench so it'll soon be weaker.
Loan deals are the way at this level, not that I agree with them, but any team over the last couple of seasons that have turned us over have later to be found to have been full of loan players.

Dimi back? not for me, unless on loan, so that we can ship him back if we don't start converting all our chances at the other end, because that's what's costing us so far.

So if we dont score many, send Dimi back so we concede more? sctatchinghead

Are you Danny Wilson?

Every time things go wrong you appear to plead 'look on the bright side' ... are you Danny's mam...?

i agree that we played reasonably well inthe first half BUT when we have a point on the board i expect the players to close things out. So many times last season we seemed to concede late on to lose games because players lost discipline by being caught out of posistion late doors. Someone should of had the sense to stop the Stockport attack through whatever means it took at that late stage, dirty fouling or whatever.....

Oh and it is a minimum of 3 minutes added time - so no one can complain about the late goal......

So why did the board (and John Orley) say 2

Plus the BBc website times the goal at 90+4

Even if he said one minute - it is a MINIMUM of one minute...... We should of been able to close the game out.......

True enough - I just thought it was excessive & a little coincidental that they scored & then the final whistle was blown
