Does anyone actually believe this guy is the right one to take us any further than he has done?

Everything about him totally confuses me from his tactics, substitutions and post match evaluations, this guy just can not manage a good football team.

He has a pair of strikers which are probably our only creative force and he plays long balls from the back to them when they stand no chance of winning the ball. Although considerin how inept our midfield is with their clueless play I think i would just miss them out as well if i was a defender.

He has the team completely wrong with the shape. Sweeney at right back, has done a decent job but is surely wasted out here. I'm sure also that our midfield four today was 4 central midfielders.Jones is not a winger as he drifts centrally way too much but he cant play in the middle because he is so weak its unbelievable. Monkhouse is a decent creative player for our team but its not consistent enough and do you ever see him beating a man down the line and putting a good delivery into the box? Liddle has went completely off the boil since we won promotion and never goes or even thinks about getting forward which is surely down to the manager and his tactics? Boland is a good player but is not going to last 90 mins for a whole season and Power just looks off the pace completely. The people who said he looked good in pre season and reserve games just remember who he played against.

Our squad is way too thin and does not hold any sort of enough quality to suggest we will be anywhere other than mid table mediocrity at best and relegation strugglers otherwise. Our main hope and the only person who defines how well we do is Brown and thank god he has signed a new contract.

I have a horrible feeling that if we perform like this and West Brom play a full strength team then we r in for an embaressment on Tuesday. Hopefully weshape up a bit, get the team playing to its full potential with players in their correct positions and Browny firing 20+ goals and we can make something of this season

What is most worrying is that Wilson has a good squad at his disposal now but he cant get results. How on earth are we going to suddenly turn the corner while he is in charge, it just isnt going to happen. Is he really going to be able to improve the team any more? His man-management is wrong and nothing will change this

Blaiming Wilson for producing good football but we failed to score, laughable. Also the fact he brought Barker on, good move im my eyes, he was the top scorer last year ffs. What we needed was a goal.

i agree mutts - barker should have been brought on a lot earlier - he could have absorbed so much of the shite browny had to put up with

Maybe that has something to do with the fact we have lost two on the trot and look like getting smashed of peterborough aswell.

I think a few people are aiming to get smashed AT Peterborough: are you sure it isn't that you mean?

Stockport were a decent team and played to a very defensive game plan (probably due to the fact their scout had seen us demolish Colchester) and looked to catch us on the break.

We had enough chances to win the game but their keepr had a blinder.

We started to run out of ideas after about 70 minutes. The late substitutions ( both were an attacker for a midfileder by the way) shook things up. The formation was changed to 4-3-3 then even 4-2-4. All the pressure was ours again until we were caught by the sucker punch.

It's always gutting to lose at the death but we more than derserved a point. We played some really good stuff and I thought the tactics employed by Wilson were the right ones.

Talking to a few stockport fans after the game, they were really impressed with our side and couldn't believe they had robbed us.
