Can I be number 2 member of the Alan Power Fan Club. Saw him last night giving an excellent performance for the reserves. Mind you he might have been sh*te for the first 45 minutes, didn't get there until the start of the second half.

I am giving you, a once in a lifetime, opportunity to register for the above mentioned elite group. Dont be shy now.

No time wasters.

All you have to do is post your interest below.

Just remember that to register you must be able to know a good player when you see one. I am sure this club isnt for the sadly deluded amongst you.

Anway....Roll Up, Roll Up, to join the elite clique for the Most Naturally Gifted Midfielder at the club.

Do you have to be fat to be a member of this club sctatchinghead

I'm not sure, I've only seen him play 71 minutes of football, he looked decent for at least half of that.

Do I get a membership card, badge, discount on Alan Power memorabilia?

I've seen him for 35 minutes. During the first ten he dumped one of the opponents arse first on the ground, got a severe finger wag from the ref, and was scarcely seen again until his much more experienced victim extracted revenge.
So the jury's still out for me. confised

Power played well yesterday. He started off like he did against Scunthorpe.... quietly and looked to be letting the game pass him by often. As the game went on though he got more and more into it and seemed to be cutting most of the balls going through the middle, out, and he tackles like a demon. His passing and vision is quality, one high 40-yard ball across to Monky on the wing yesterday was the best pass i've seen at Pools for a long time. His ability to switch play from one side to the other is invaluable and something we lack in the team. I'd start him alongside Liddle every game bbolt

The worlds gone mad, hasn't he only played approx 50 minutes of league football sctatchinghead

Foleys first few games were better than anything I've seen Power do so far, oh apart from the best pass ever seen

Hopefully Power will be a good un if he's to cover for Boland, and he starts to show it now.

I didn't say it was the best pass i've ever seen. I said it was the best pass i've seen at Pools for a long time. He switched play immediately with a brilliant pass that landed straight at Monky's feet.

And personally i've never seen Foley do anything other than cover a lot of ground.

Power's quality and you know it
