But would anyone swap Liddle and Sweeney around for any games.

Maybe for the odd away game in the hope that Sweeney could possible give us a goal, while to be honest Liddle has missed two good chances so far this season, at home to Colchester and away to Tranmere on Saturday.

We all know Sweeney can score coming through from midfield, it may just give us the opportunity to get a goal lead away from home and hopefully hang on to get a win.

Just a thought.

Sweeney is doing fine at right back, Liddle is doing fine in the middle and there is no need to change things and unsettle things. We need consistency, especially in defence and I certainly wouldn't advocate any changes to the current back 4 based on the first 3 games.

Sweeney hasn't been a goalscoring midfielder in ages now

I'll have to comment on this or PJ Poolie will be crying in his pyjama's if i don't.

Anyone that would even consider putting Sweeney in the centre of midfield hasn't got a clue..... The lad has finally found a posistion where he can do a job - i know he isn't perfect but he is far better in that posistion than he has been in the centre of midfield. The only right back we have had who was just about perfect was Jack Ross.....

You will also find that we have far better options in the central midfield posistion as well....

Is this NOT the reason we all slated Wilson last season when he started to play and tinker with teh team?

Somestimes I just dont understand. We slate him for theying things, when he keeps a stready settled side we start to ask if he should start and alter things? Come on guys lets think what we are saying????

yes he did. By the time pools decided to play football Power was at the centre of everything good that was happening.

Oh hang on though........most people on here turned it into the Foley and Robson show. rolfl

The correct reply was 'No one played well in the first half against Scunthorpe.'
