All very well but you didn't say which team was which. I've assumed the kids were in green as today's yoof is all sat at home and playing tomb raider & Grand Theft Anything on their computers and games consoles, eating McBurgers with chips and becoming obese. (In between a bit of theiving and knife crime of course).
I take it the Bunkerites were in the yellow, young looking for their age, slim and nimble.

i reckon for most of the game we were playing with 8 blokes over 40 in our team, and most of us were playing our first 11 a side game in months.

I would change months for years there gaffer

Excellent photos as well Mr G, it is a shame that you didnt get photos of the gilt edged chances that we missed

she actually came over to the changies with mr grabec after the game for a chat. said how impressed she had been that a bunch of blokes in their late 30's, 40's and in the case of our keeper 50's would give up their sunday afternoon to help with the footballing education of a bunch of kids.

I wonder whether she recognised me?

Dibble,of course I did....

..........after Mr Gremmlin had pointed you out!

you missed the first half mr gremmlin where we toyed with them and scored some great goals and probably should have been 6 or 7 in front. most of us were only going into tackles half heartedly.

i genuinely think we would give aidos lot a game.

we have yubep and kolley, our two young players to come back into the side, trapper would get in any sunday league side outside of the premier division, as would his son.

quote the team we put out yesterday
typical manager changes his mind half way through an interview
and i saw most of the game as the pics prove
