I'm back i'm back as a matter of fact, as a matter of fact I'm back.

Gary Glitter to be released from prison and deported to the UK next week.

BBC News wrote:
Glitter 'returns to UK next week'

Gary Glitter will be deported to Britain on Tuesday after serving 27 months in prison in Vietnam for child molestation, his lawyer has said. Le Thanh Kinh told news agencies that the disgraced rock star, real name Paul Gadd, would be free to go wherever he wanted after returning to the UK.

Glitter, 63, was convicted in 2006 for molesting two girls aged 11 and 12. The Home Office said anyone convicted of sex offences overseas would be met by police on arrival and interviewed. Former glam rocker Glitter has been held since November 2005. His three-year sentence was cut last year under a national amnesty.

His lawyer told Reuters news agency: "My client will have to board a flight to London, his ticket has been bought by the authorities here. "After he lands in London, he's free to go wherever he wants." The Home Office said it did not comment on individual cases.

A spokeswoman said: "When it is known that a sex offender convicted in another country is to be deported to the UK, he is met at the port of entry by police who interview him and pass any relevant information to the police in the area in which the offender is proposing to live. "Offenders convicted of sexual offences whether in the UK or overseas may be monitored under multi-agency public protection arrangements." She said there was no automatic requirement for offenders returning to the UK to be added to the sex offenders register.

Glitter was convicted of possessing child pornography in the UK in 1999 and served half of a four-month jail sentence. He later went to Cambodia, which permanently expelled him in 2002. In a recent interview with Vietnam's Cong An Nhan Dan newspaper, Glitter said he intended to resume his singing career and might move to Singapore or Hong Kong.

Maybe it's a 70's glam rock thing. Don't forget Derek Longmuir.

Oh PLEEEEEEAAASE, Lock him up, Why??

Just get some fly fishing hooks, sandpaper them so the protective varnish is removed and stitch his dick end together. When he pees the hooks will eventually go rusty. As for internet peado's same thing but to their eylids. For actualy fiddlers break off the ends of the hooks and place under the skin of he fingers.... make sure skin heals before letting them go....

........ not that I have a surplus of fishing hooks or owt.

if these people could have gotten away with it, they would have done. That's how remorseful they are.
The only thing they're sorry about was getting caught!!!

I think Mr Gadd, will certainly be looking for an image change from the one we all remember, and hoping he can slip quietly into obscurity. Mainly to avoid the aforementioned vigilantes.

My guess is that he'll just bounce off Britain and go on to some poverty stricken country where they turn a blind eye if the moneys right. Sick like, but that's what happens. There's places all over where they're willing to sell you their kids because it means they won't starve. Its these places where predators like him prosper. Sadly he's not wanted for anything in Britain so it'd be hard to keep him in.

theres some american football team, i forget which one, that plays one of his songs everytime they score a touchdown. i find this perverse, folk jumping up and down and singing along with a sick old perve that shags bairns.

he is still very popular in the usa apparently. then again its a big country and perhaps some folk over there are not aware of his crimes.

I'm sure they have stopped now....

Now has anyone here got rid of their 'Who' collections.... thought not!

£150,000 a year reportedly .... he'll be deported back to the UK, but doesn't mean he'll arrive here.

"A Judas goat is a trained goat used at a slaughterhouse and in general animal herding. The Judas goat is trained to associate with sheep or cattle, leading them to a specific destination. In stockyards, a Judas goat will lead sheep to slaughter, while its own life is spared. Judas goats are also used to lead other animals to specific pens and on to trucks."

Not quite the context in which Mr Lemonade was using the name.
