I have put my laptop on today and in the bottom right hand corner there was a little pop up from AVG saying that there was a .bin file missing, I tried to check for updates and install them but at the end of that it said that I wasnt protected because of this missing .bin file.

What the hell is a .bin file

Its a .bin(ary) file, Which is basically how your computer reads and writes data in Binary, By the sounds of it that file is either missing or corrupt

This usually happens when theres a power outage or something of that sort

I'd just re-install AVG Fensy and it should be good to go again

The problem seemed to go once I restarted my computer
