I have a friend whose job is teaching foreign students complicated stuff about IBM mainframe computers. He HAS to speak like that all the time at work. The thing is he sometimes forgets to leave his pidgin English behind when he goes out on a night. It's pretty hilarious to hear him speak to us like that. He does a great Borat impression mind (mankini and all).

I'd able the live with this if he'd adopted the local dialect and mannerisms when he was at the Boro. Using phrases like "our mam" or "parnt of lager" in interviews perhaps if he had anything about him he would even have started touching kids on the sly to become a true Middlesbrough resident or took up bestiality perhaps.

I can see his next move, clogs. They all wear them the Dutch. Go on Steve you know it makes sense, you'd look a right 'lovely lovely person' in a pair of clogs.
