I very much doubt that will happen. If Wright leaves, we're looking at Foran. A forward line of Abbott, Foran, Blundell and Proudlock is of better quality than out forward line was at the start of last season.

MSN, sorry mate but Robinson's deffo signing.

You cock. You don't know fook all. Your sources are shite.

Penney himself has said that Robinson has not done enough to earn a deal yet.

Robinson actually looked the part for a couple of months at Pools when we were flying in the early days of Cooper. Obviously the most obvious highlight being his hat-trick in the 8-1 massacre of Grimsby, then I don't know what happened to him. I remember he scored his ninth of the season away at Chesterfield still quite early the season (late October, early November?) and one of my mates said he won't get to ten goals. He didn't either. He just got worse, he was subbed as a sub later in the season in a home game even, classic Cooper that was if you aren't doing it you're off!

He never appears to have recovered, surely it wouldn't be a signing that wouldn't exactly fill you with excitement Quakerz? It's obviously a possibility or you wouldn't have had him on trial for so long.

At least Marcus Haber is getting a decent run out for Darlo tonight, good luck to the lad in his attempt to have a trial at every league team in England.

I wouldn't exactly describe it as decent the Loids are 5-0 down already against Boro reserves. Alistair Brownlee is cracking one off.

20 minutes left as well

What an absolute 'lovely lovely person' Brownlee is. He has just suggested that Darlo become Borers feeder club  Patronising choad. The Loid team was full of kids and trialists and he virtually had his chopper out.

What a prick, I almost felt sorry for Ray Simpson having to listen to the fooker. I hope the Boro get relegated with 0 points.

Ah Paul Robinson. Was brilliant when the useless 'lovely lovely person' was subbed on, and within 5 minutes was subbed off. Ultimate humiliation for a huge waste of space. Probably Coopers finest moment clappp

Didnt Istead once get subbed on and then off again shortly after?

Cooper didn't mess about - and refused to be beaten without his side putting up a fight. The likes of the Blackpool away match were very much the exception

Yes theres every need.

Smug people deserve to be treated with contempt and I have always found your smugness to be unbearable. I simply cannot treat smug comments with civility as that is beyond my capability.

Like I said, you do not know what you are talking about, at best the idea of Robinson getting is a guess and certainly not definite information, yet you pass it off as a given.

You'll notice that I have been civil in this post, thats because I'm not replying to smugness in this instance.

It was cringeworthy listening to him "Aaaaand maaaagic johnson brilliant!! yada yada yada", without taking into account they were playing literally nobodies.....in a fooking non competetive match.

Also, he'd ask Simpson questions and cut him off to w@nk over some mesmerising skill off one of the young Borer superstars whilst Ray was only half way through his reply. The insufferable tw@t.

Brownlee is the cheesiest, smelliest, most vd-infested penis of a commentator that ever did pollute the airwaves.

Ha! I'd take playing for the Bunker over Borer any day of the week, believe you me. I work til 9 on a wednesday night now, so the 5-a-side just isn't doable for me at the moment I'm afraid.

Well Elvis....

1 You were NOT given 4,200 tickets for the derby, despite smugly insisting that you knew it as fact.

2 Marcus Stewart was NEVER going to Pools (it was all made up) despite you smugly insisting that there WAS something in it.

3 Paul Robinson HAS NOT been given a contract at Darlo, despite you smugly insisting that was to be the case.

Your trouble is that you think you have a lot of top notch sources, hence your absolute certainty and smugness when making a comment, except your sources are fooking shyte aren't they?

Paul, you're becoming obsessed mate. Mind, you're not the first Loid to take this road. It's nice to be a minor irritant to be honest, as quite frankly you're a bit of a fool.

Yours Smugly, Phillipe xxxx

Elvis in imagining somebody is obsessed with him shocker! Have you got a mental illness as well as smugness? LOL. How very DARE you say I am obsessed with you!

Here is the unpalatable truth -

1 I read this board regularly but rarely contribute.

2 Every now and again you pop up with an irritating, smug and as proven above, WRONG dig at Darlo......as is your right.

3 I exercise my right to pull you up on it and tell you how it is.

4 You start imagining I am obsessed with you? You plonker!

I just view you as a misguided and harmless dick that needs correcting! We can't let you keep on thinking your many Darlo/other related bloopers are correct now can we?

Think of me as your Guardian of sensible comment.

How about Premiership in five years?
Or 'we'll never play you again'?
Or seventeen years........

Nah you can't correct those stonewall facts can you, Quakers?

And you will be one of the next clubs to go into admin, again

But then again, you may win a trophy, which you can the bang on about forever and a day, whilst still failing to get out of the bottom tier for nearly two decades, now that's some going

Correct. You really are wasting your time trying to beat me up with an opinion that I don't dispute. I'm only interested in correcting blatant incorrectness.

I hope we do win another trophy, because it is something you haven't managed, and lets face it, if we did win another trophy then that would become a fact, and if you didn't then your trophyless history would still be a fact and a source of irritation when brought up by Darlo fans.

We have no chance of winning another trophy though.

None, I'll give you that, but how many promotions have you gained in seventeen years....?

You see, this could go on for ever, but I will happily forgo winning a bit of tin, in the lowest professional division in England, to see a few promotions, wouldn't you?

Mind you, most 'Loids are the masochistic they would keep the trophy

You can't really put a promotion in the reception can you?

Only a trophy serves a purpose, and to have a trophy you have to win a cup or league, or even a play off, hell even a play off (HOW many goes did you have at them?) and unfortunately you've never won fook all!

Never mind though, I hear somebody has a nice portrait of Alan Shearer, you could always use that?

You get a trophy for being runners up. We should know we've been presented with it in the last two seasons we've had to endure in the 'DarloDale' league.

Are you seriously suggesting that there is no purpose in finishing in the top three and earning a promotion? Grimsby Town have won three times as many divisional titles as West Ham. Do you think any Hammers fan gives a runny shite about this, or is even aware of it? Along with their divisional titles Darlington have five divisional wooden spoons. Nobody cares.

Fans of Rushden & Diamonds wouldn't swap positions with us now because they beat us to the title back in 2002/2003. That's all that matters.

I think it's been so long the Loids and muddled and confused at even the thought of promotion it's alien to these poor soles.

You can't count the Conference Quakerz that would be like us counting the Durham Senior Cup or you counting a trophy that used to be played on weekday afternoons in front of 30 people... oh dear it appears you have.

Fook me you've turned into 'Walshy's Wingman'
