Friendlies against young uns are useful , old uns chasing shadows for long periods builds up fitness, experience usually tells though in the end in my experience.

you can split the game with mr billingham who will need to get away sharp for the christening. he will do first half if you want to do the 2nd ?

Sounds like a plan to me. But the 2 lads will probably be keen to do somewhere near the full match if possible. The 1'o'clock start takes the pressure of the rush to the booze at 4. :grin:

I'm at the Green Man Festival in Wales this weekend so I'm out unfortunately.

Chip, I'm not playing football at all at the minute. I'm training with a Northern League side when I move to Carlisle to get fit but that's about it. Sad state of affairs for a young lad!
