...RIGHT AWAY. If anyone wishes to read my old posts they will see I did not want Wilson as manager, but everyone gets a chance in my eyes. I stated quite clearly that i would give him till the end of October, but this season has produced one or two interesting if disturbing points in my mind. I can't be arsed with knee jerk reactions, prejudice and armchair tacticians because it's all bollox..my problem is this..I was one of the first to wamt Scotty out... but on reflection and seeing the same swing in performances, I have to ask was he wrong or the players...? WAS I WRONG..the easy answer is to say sack the manager and miss the bleedin obvious.... IF THE PLAYERS GO OUT ON THE PITCH WITH A CAN'T BE ARSED ATTITUDE, NO MATTER WHAT THE MANAGER SAYS OR DOES, IT'S ALL TO NO AVAIL... you can of course replace the manager, but what if the problem continues...what then..? THERE'S SOMETHING DOESN'T ADD UP....

And who's to say your wrong to want a quick fix, the problem is that knee jerk reactions after 3 months of competitve football won't solve the underlying problem, which as we all know is that there are too many mediocre players at Pools and for the time being there is nothing that can be done about it due to decisions that were taken before Wilson arrived.

Maybe Wilson isn't the right man in the long term, but until he's actually given a chance with his own men I won't be calling for his head.

Do you really think thats at all likely though??

I'm gutted because it looks like we're going to miss out on the playoffs but I don't think we need to worry about relegation yet, we're playing to well (just not scoring goals).

You've got to give him a full season. If this time next year we're saying the same thing after he's brought his own men in and cleared out the deadwood then I'll be screaming for his head. However at the moment its much to soon.

trouble last season was a lack of goals as is this season, but i think ior and tubbs were out of order handing out contracts left right and centre when the manager should of done this.

too many people not good enough inside the club

That is very true townendtim, just look at darrell clarke why hand him a new contract then ship him out on loan for 6 months??????????????????????????????????????? very confusing

also in my eyes i think to many chiefs not enough indians, seems every one from wilson, turner, hodcroft and god knows who else seem to be giving the orders out!!!

So which is it to be, C?

I don't think we are headed for Conference football next season, and I don't think I am "burying my head in the sand" by saying that. Instead I think we are going to see that rarest of things for a Poolie in recent years: a flat season. No real danger of going up or down. Now of course it only takes a short burst of results to change the season - we were in a playoff spot just FIVE games ago - but I can't see us being consistently good enough or bad enough to be really dragged in at either end.

Both

I will moan & gripe & say Im not going this season if we continue to be crap, but still attend

If however we get relegated again...........

...but if that's the case, the answer is easy...we just have to win matches, lots of them ...f****** brilliant..I wish I'd thought of that... banghead ..and all the time the answer was right in front of me............. rolfl rolfl rolfl rolfl rolfl rolfl rolfl rolfl

...er, how do we win the matches....?

when you go on the training ground 5 days a week
try to make up a game plan
and pick the players to suit that game plan
then if it does not work then
bring on your subs

ok we have tried that

errr???

....I got abuse last year for wanting Scotty out ....so I thought.....try and be more reasonable and give patience a chance...be more understanding .......these things take time, was another phrase that came to mind...so like I said earlier, I'LL GIVE HIM TILL THE END OF THIS MONTH, HE GOT A ONE MONTH EXTENSION...... then it's time to go. BUT NOT TILL THEN. rage
