Has anyone had any trouble with virus-bearing emails after posting a cv, or other personal info, on an employment agency site?

No, was it a reputable job agency / company? Are you using any anti virus / anti spy software?

I got an email to-day from someone allegedly employed with American Airlines, and I stupidly opened its attachment which then buggered up the system for a while. The anti-virus thing sorted it in the end, but meanwhile I found out that an employment seeking site called Monster had been 'invaded' at the w.e.

Have contacted a few job sites lately, so probably this is the chief suspect

The lesson to be learned is not to open attachments from unknow sources. My email filter gets ris of lots of 'spam' (cue Monty Python sketch). I suppose it's why I do not have untold riches bestowed upon me from African princes and Russian royalty who want to cash cheques to the value of millions. But hey, what would I do with all that money anyway. sadx
