According to the Leeds United message boards we are giving a trial to Marcus Haber who was on loan at them, apparantly this is coming from himself on facebook.

Nearly 6'4", can play centre back or centre forward and 'one of Canada's top prospects' Not the most impressive endorsement granted, the other is probably a fooking moose.

I've just sent him a friend request on facebook. I might stalk him in the style of Mr Smythe.

If we all did that he'd run a mile. I'd love to see the look on his face if he suddenly got loads of friends requests from Hartlepool.

Edit: I could not resist.

"Come and join Hartlepool, we hang monkeys. Yeah!

We also sing Two Little Boys a lot.

And more Mars Bars are eat over here than anywhere else. Fact.

Our captain, Ritchie Humphreys, likes to wear Mankinis and sing songs. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bUM-_znLnMs) He was honoured by the Queen for entertaining us with his dancing and football skills.

You will love it here.

And to quote what Haber is meant to have said....

Quote:
Thanks alot for the support, its nice to hear from you. Yea it was definitely disappointing, i gave it everything i had, so in the end im pleased with myself...but i have to respect leeds' decision, every club has different needs. Now im just hoping to latch on with another club. Hartlepool is one of the clubs that are interested, soo im headin there for now.

take care

Back at the start of Cooper's tenure lots of fans were crying out for a big centre forward at least twice as tall as Giant Haystacks.

Since Jon Daly came and went no one seems to believe in that route any more.

And as for centre back, that must be a our least important priority.

Unless this guy has amazing ground skills, he sounds like yet another recipe to hoof it forward and hope for the best.

The Ritchie Humphreys video is great. I spotted Tinkler, Sweeney and Joel. Anyone spot any other players?
