if anybody is bothered although not many people are judging by the turnout lol.

its 0-0 at half time. a decent game though with a few naughty challenges. we have hit the bar twice and browny has ripped the mackems a new ar$e hole. power has been outstanding. spraying 40 yard balls for fun. hitting the bar once maybe twice and generally kicking anyone who comes near him.

good game!

Browny is 100/1 to be top scorer. Should be due afew more if playing upfront. How many people are at this joke? I really hope its single figures.

i know its not really smiled upon on this board to be abusive towards other members, but your a bell end mate. i mean if you dont want to go then fine, i only went because i was really bored, but to wish that less than 10 people turn up to watch YOUR team is pathetic.

Going back to the main point, we got beat 1-0 due to a Chopra penalty given away by Sweeney. Typical Pools though we should have won 3 or 4 nil, but just couldn't put the ball in the back of the net.

Was very impressed with Power, a little disappointed with Jones, Centre-backs looked very good, Budtz had hardly owt to do but kicking was terrible on a couple of occasions. Porter looked lively when he came on.

Overall, same old, same old. Had much the better of the match and come away wondering how we lost!!!

For any fan to state he wishes that less than 10 people attend a Pools game beggars belief.

I was there today and will be tomorrow, regardless of whether you think it a pointless tournament it is games that will get players ready for the new season. More importantly its games that may result in Pools losing money perhaps then when no money is available to bring in new player's whether for the start of the season or during it people like tree will then be complaining that we not spending. Well you can't spend what you not got.

At end of the day i paid £25 for all games a total of £6:25 a game, yes maybe cheaper admission would have resulted in a larger crowd today (my guess 300). That is a point worth debating, wishing no one attends simply isn't

two huddersfield supporters enjoyed it
they were on their way to pay in and were spotted by a pools player who promptly gave them free tickets

i have no interest in watching hamilton playing huddersfied or sunderland reserves, so essentially you are talking about 25 quid to watch pools play 2 glorified kickabouts. charging that money is dumb dumb dumb and its why nobody bothers with it.

the games are played to get players fit, not to provide entertainment.

today i watched the 20/20 finals. great entertainment if you overlook durhams pisspoor effort.

tomorrow i am going to the air show. which is free, though it will cost me a fiver to get there.

whoever was responsible for pricing the tournament at pools wants his head examining.

imho of course.

Bob is right though
