If Budtz was to be loaned out to Mansfield for the season, I am presuming Barrett is to be our first choice keeper. Unless some one else wants Budtz (Here's hoping)

Perhaps DW and IOR will attempt to buy out his contract and simply get him off the books.

Barrett is not good enough either, he won't improve by the required amount to be any use to us this season. We are desperate for a keeper, even of average ability, because that would be an improvement on what we have.
George Wood has got to be blind if he's the club's goalkeeping expert. The fact we have Turner here as well, it's incredible that the keeper position is such a problem.

I think they both realise that there is a keeper problem, that's why they've been looking at Derek Soutar and possibly others we've not heard about. However they must also think or been told that having 3 keepers + Cook on the payroll is not affordable.
