The reason I love this story so much apart from the Hartlepool connection, is because it is quite unique.

It's got everything: deceit, deception, greed, uniqueness, something extraordinary about an ordinary town.

I know there's a great British lottery funded film lurking in this story.

Failing that not purely for business - 3, The Cliff, Seaton Carew could be turned into A MUSEUM !!!!!

I kid ye not !!!!

Well and truly put Hartlepool on the international tourist map.

That is a unique story and if someone doesn't come along and write a film or TV Drama or novelization based on it, then I certainly will.

You'll get people having their pictures taken outside 3, The Cliff and they'll say: That's me outside the house where that Canoe bloke lived !!!!

Everyone's a winner !!!!

ITV might do a drama based on the story, but yet again ITV would make a one off drama of a dog having a piss up a lampost

If people start to flock to SeatingCanoe to get their pics taken outside of the house, I'll eat shite with the flies

I can just see it now

Alun Armstrong as John Darwin
Julie Walters as Anne Darwin.....

See you've got a think like a film writer, diretor, producer.
