Past one of the streets off Elwick road and it's all taped off the full street with loads and loads of police

Anyone know whats going on? :shock:

its been like that since before 11pm last night
someone murdered we heard last night in kimberely street

A murder-style inquiry has been launched after the body of a man was discovered in a terraced house in Hartlepool.
Police have confirmed they are treating the death as suspicious but have not released any deatils of the victim or how he died.

The body was discovered at a house in Kimberley Street, off Elwick Road, late last night and forensic officers are tody at the property.

A white tent has been put up at the entrance to the house and the entire street of terraced properties has been sealed off with police tape.

One neighbour told the Mail he did not know the victim but had heard he was of foreign origin.

The 39-year-old, who did not want to give his name, said: "I have never seen him and don't know much about him but have heard that he was foreign.

A Cleveland Police spokesman said: "Police are investigating the suspicious death of a man in Kimberley Street.

"Police inquiries have started into his death."

A 21-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a man was found dead on a Teesside street.

Police have not yet released many details about the death which happened on Kimberly Street, in Hartlepool, on Saturday night.

The area has been cordoned off, but there were reports of bloodstains on the street.

A Cleveland Police spokesman said the man had been arrested in the Northumbria police force area.
