What would everyone presuming Porter is fit (he hasn't been ruled out)?

For me it has to be Porter and Duffy.

Daly has done well don't me me wrong and is an option off the bench. But the thought of Porter playing with a proven goalscorer (at a higher level) who has pace excites me. Hopefully with games in the SPL and the Championship behind him Duffy is going to be much closer to Porters wavelength? Daly is a usefull target man with a tidy touch at times but I wouldn't say he is a partner that suits Porter.

Duffy and Porter could hopefully be the business, I hope thats what Danny Wilson is thinking anyway!

Feeling more positive about things than I was on Tuesday anyway. Does anyone else think that this move could be a one that is made permanment? Two months is strange amount of time to come on loan, and it just happpens to end the start of January?? We have heard rumours of a bid for striker being put together he might cost us £150,000-£250,000 but Wilson has stated when Boyd was sold that he had money to spend and he WOULD be replaced.

Things could be looking up.

Not a hope in fookin' hell I'm sorry to say.
Can't see why Hull would want rid. They don't exactly need the money. 250K is small change to them.

According to a Hull fan on Rivals they think that it is a possibility because they have plenty of strikers

Those "plenty of strikers" have helped Hull scored 8 fewer league goals than Pools so far.
If Duffy starts knocking them in for Pools they'll sharp want him back.

Anyway, getting back to the point, I just can't see Duffy fitting into our salary structure.

I think the new lad might be on the bench, just to see what reaction we get from the strikers who start.

I've also heard that there may be more than one new face tomorrow.
Duffy will start, almost certainly with Daly, and the 2 month loan is with a view to a permanent move in January.

If Duffy is the only new face tomorrow, you can still expect 2 or 3 more in the next few weeks...

Gascoigne, Beardsley, Waddle, Bobby Charlton and Bob Newton. What are you waiting for Pools, get cracking.

I heard that we have agreed a few with Mansfileld for Richie Barker but after talks yesterday he failed to agree personal terms, the deal isn't dead though by all accounts.
