Politicians are all the same, and who's to say we wouldn't be the same with a little power.

I cant understand why anyone would want to be an MP, most if not all come from educated backgrounds and could probably get a well paid job in the city or elsewhere for a lot less hassle than being a member of parliament.

The only possible chance they have is if they dump Brown and they won't do that. The media people have tried to make him lose his dour image by trying to make him look friendly and warm. They've only suceeded in making him look false. That smirk he does grinds on everyone and its so easy to see through.

As for Wright, I fear that you're right in that he'll retain his seat and the fault of that lies with non thinking brain dead people who vote Labour because they parents and grandparents did. FFS, develop your own thinking and form an opinions of your own. The Labour party of today has no relevance to its origins. Can you imagine the old socialists bringing in a law to reduce the tax burden of the middle classes and move it to the poor? Thats what your mate Wright voted for when he supported the abolition of the 10p tax bracket.
