I'd like nike to be a bit creative, maybe even design a strip just like our first ever one, not one of there designs which we have too pick.

I know where not exactly there biggest client, but your only 100 once and a really good strip will see more people buy it.

Should be tomorrow shouldn't it - Simpson said an announcement in first week of July.

It's 4th July tomorrow, a decision's due.

Yeah!!! something unique that no one else has, these strips we are wearing at the moment any sunday league team can get hold of out of a magazine, set of 13 for £200 etc. I like our away strip but it is off putting knowing Fulham and Bournemouth wear it also Lets have a continental sort of design that is unique to us.

In an ideal non commercial world I would fully agree with you.

Unfortunately we have to be realistic and expect that a company like Nike aint gonna provide a strip exclusively for HUFC.

I have owned foreign strips in the past what must of been totally unique, yet those clubs used Nike, Adidas etc. Had a colombian one with a big devil on the front , American Cali I think. Cant imagine any other club had a similar one. Why cant we? Where there is a will there is a way, but pools always look for the cheap and easy option.

Pools could play in black and white hoops for all I care as long as we sign a goalie and a couple of good full backs.

And we have neither a good team or a good strip. When you are as small a club as us its imperative you look the part, get all the little details right , so we can puff out our chests and mix it with the big boys. Our club has always thought small, we know our place and thats why we have achieved booger all , apart from survival that is, which given what I have just said actually amazes me that we are still here.

Our logo is shite too! If we get the logo, ground and strip sorted we will walk this league!

Why couldnt they announce strip details before now? Have they not knew about it being our 100th year for a while? I fail to see why they couldnt have the strips out before the season started. Perhaps a discount with a season ticket too?

But then again im sure thats above you.

Most unorganised business ever.

I couldnt give a shit if they said they would announce them on the 9th July. Should have been at end of season if the club had any idea what they were doing.

Very informative. Id love to see a reasoned argument as to why the strip is not out before the season starts but no one has a clue?

What is the point announcing the details of a new kit at the end of last season? We won't be playing in it until August? You'd probably moan about them asking people to fork out £40 for a new top at the same time as season ticket renewal time then

You name one problem we've had with kits since the club started dealing with Nike? I'm certain it will be out well before the season FFS it's still nearly five weeks away.

You are searching for a problem to moan about so you can call everyone 'not nice people' when one quite simply doesn't exist!!

In all seriousness you would hope that the new home kit will be unveiled at least 2 weeks before the season starts. It doesn't bother me massively but you know what some people are like wanting to wear one at the first home game or on holiday. I think people are also expecting something special with it being the centenary - lets hope we aren't disappointed......

We won't be, but there'll always be some that don't like the new design. And it'll be out in time, this is Nike, not Loki!

Does anyone have any idea of what the new design is? Apart from that it is blue and white....?

Tree, I think you have a problem. The season starts in one month and a two days yet you're moaning that the new kit isn't out yet? You're going to have to explain why we should all be pissed off about this one as I am stumped.
