Former Rochdale player Ernie Cooksey has died of cancer aged just 28. He leaves behind a heavily pregnant girlfriend. RIP Ernie.

I remember that tackle it was shocking just after we'd went 2-0 up how he didn't get sent off is beyond me, still as you said though only football.

Cancer is absolutely evil, it's one of the main reasons I'm not religious, how could any God justify taking away a 28 year old lad with a kid on the way.
