He said: "I've got some ideas. Once it's finished and confirmed, I'd like to do some travelling. I'd like to go to the top of the Eiffel Tower, it's one of a huge list of things I want to achieve."

The view from the top is worth the ascent (and the wait) but I'd hardly describe it as one of the most rewarding experiences of my life.

I had a 'wow' moment in Dublin last weekend. PC and I went to Trinity College, to see the Book of Kells. It was interesting, seeing the exhibition about it, and having a look at the Book of Kells along with the Book of Durrow and Book of Howth. But moving from the darkened room storing the books in their display case, we went up a short flight of stairs to the Long Room, the main Library, and the sight in front of me took my breath away. It's probably difficult to a imagine a Library having that effect, and it obviously doesn't effect everyone in the same way, as people were just walking past me seemingly underwhelmed. But I'm certainly glad we went along, a remarkable experience.
