Anyone know how i can set up an easy database/schedule of annually booking in peoples heating servicing? Maybe something where i can also print off a letter too to send to the customer. Cheers

You can schedule annual meetings appointments in microsoft Outlook calendar.

Google Calendar is good - we use it for the band - it also allows permitted others to access (ie admin etc).

er, a diary from wh smiths ? i can supply installation and consultancy, as well as ongoing training and telephone support for a couple of grand. and you get a choice of colours

Personally, I'd use Excel. I find access too messy abouty.


Set up the columns at the top with the usual stuff; name, address, equipment, next service date etc...

Then each month / week use the sort facility to put them in date order and use colours to highlight what has been done needs doing.

Excel is a decent programme to do your spreadsheets, accounts etc!!! I used it to calculate %GP when prices were changed , stocktaking etc.
You could set up a spreadsheet for your bairn's savings account as well!!!
