It was highlights.

One of the highlights being the interview with Coppell afterwards. :grin:

According to Pools official history:

2nd Jan 1993 An Andy Savillee penalty seals a erd Round FA Cup victory over Crystal Palace in a game broadcast live all over the world by the BBC.

Made it sound so glamourous there, although let's not take any gloss from our one and only famous FA Cup giant killing, but sounded as if the match was being beamed to all exotic locations by satellites !!!!

Any way I can get a copy of that, John ? We haven't got that here, got all the promotion/ play-off videos except 1991, Spurs in the League Cup and Palace.

I thought we had the media coverage by the ITV Football League programme for Scarborough at home 1999...well, at least my uncle did.

It was Southall who went down for the pen.

Although Saville was taken out in the box a couple of minutes previous except the Southern Beeb failed to show that in their highlights package! :roll: :evil:

There was minimal contact and Southall went down, we were all over them in the 2nd half anyway. The victory hardly made up for the following 13 games anyway.....
