...the council stepped in after about 15 years and finally decided to restore the severely dilapidated bus shelter in Seaton Carew. It was a mess before, and I hope this leads to a bit of improvement in the area.

Hopefully the Longscar Centre's next to go. It's a disgrace. I know Seaton isn't exactly Vegas, but from Hornsey's Grill to the Green it's actually pretty nice. If the Longscar went and the shelter's being done up, it may actually be nice.

It always seemed well used when I frequented Seaton *cough* years ago.

just coasters is open the other end shut ages ago and the amusement arcade shut ages ago as well

Do you mean the faiground? If you do then Seaton is no longer Seaton. Seaton without the waltzers just doesnt make sense!!!

On a related note I was in Bridlington 2-3 weeks ago and from what I saw, the fun bit is no bigger than Seaton's!!

in that case no the amusement arcade was in the old longscar hall which was turned into coasters and amusement arcade and another pub
