At Thirsk car booty last Sunday. The car pulled up same time as us, well just in front actually and his number plate was something like GE07 EST and underneath it had a red devil and the words 'george Best 1945 - whatever'
I said to my young un 'Have you seen that private reg plate son' and the bloke turned around with a smug look on his face.

Whats it meant to say dad' said my youngun

I agree, what on earth is the point unless you get one that says ' Hey ladies, if I give you 2 grand will you do owt??'

'Cos it means the same......

I know a family in Manchester that have three vehicles with their relatively short name on every numberplate. The Dad went to jail for tax evasion and the son is banned for DD.
