Hi Sam,

Hope you are well.

I’d expect us to unveil plans for a new kit for next season by the first week in July.

Thanks for your email,

Mark.

possibly they are making sure the suppliers have the stock ready to go from day 1 and that is why there wont be an official announcement until then

I always opt for XXL (which won't surprise many who have seen me), but I was a bit pissed off that they only made the long-sleeved shirts in M and L last season (or so it seemed). It can't cost that much to make them - it'd be perfect for the winters in the Town End.

I have no doubt that the 100th Anniversary Kit will be either really great or absolutely shite. I'll still buy it of course. Can't be any worse than the placenta-coloured Darlo away shirt last year.

I doubt I'll get a shirt for the first three months though, the restock rate is about 10 per month

"unveil plans for new kit by first week in July"

Did the club not know the centenery season was coming up? sctatchinghead

Therefore I can only presume the shirt wont be on sale for the start of the season yet again? Is it really that hard? Plus they will only get 2 large shirts, 4 medium and 5000 small and 10,000 XXL at a guess untill next order arrives in 2010 or something.

I have never ever heard of a club as unproffesional and unorganised as this.

Oh and I see Oxford are playing Man U and Arsenal or was it Liverpool pre season? We get fuckin Hamilton, Huddersfield and Sunderland reserves to celebrate our 100th year? Whoop de fucking do! No Holland Tour either? Worst pre season schedule ever and thank god i wont be going to any.

Even if we had a great one, people would still complain about the ticket prices.

Fair enough like. I'm not going to see Sunderland XI for £18 that's for sure

Are we going to Scotland to play Morton ot not? Reports are confusing.

These games might not be big crowd pullers but I think they'll provide a more useful build up than getting slaughtered by premiership sides.
Just a shame for the supporters that we don't have even ONE big centenary match.
