Maybe there may be some other offers to help the fans who have purchased season tickets over a number of years.

A 100 draw something like that, were only fans who have been season ticket holders for more than 3 years are included.On condition they are season ticket holders this season.

I received the same letter other season ticket holder's would have received by now as well,yesterday,which was dated 5th June (2 days after I posted) offering special promotions.

Groovy earlier congratulated the club for sorting out his complaint about purchasing season tickets, for different parts of the ground, and saying it was maybe because he had posted on here,I'm thinking maybe some officials do read ,not only this board but other's.

Maybe when having a complaint,then if it done in a reasonable way and not just insulting the club or officials of the club, then maybe something may get done.

Its a shame the club haven't listened to the fans more often, there's some cracking ideas published on this message board (I don't read any other), I would advise Mark to continue reading and continue passing ideas on to the powers that be.

It should never be a case of us and them, it should be a collective working towards a common goal. That's certainly how it felt when Mr Paul Mullen was around.

BTW, this was my 'letter from the chairman' which I posted on here on the 4th.......

How much effort would it take for Ken Hodcroft to pen a letter of thanks to existing season ticket holders? Photocopy it, bang one in every application pack, job done. I think it's called customer relations.

Dear Season Ticket holder,

Although last season lack the excitement of some of our previous campaigns, we did achieve our number one target, consolidation in League One. After a bright start to the season we struggled to keep momentum going and fell away from the leading pack. However there was still a number of performances to be proud off throughout the campaign.

In a season when so many clubs have struggled financially, once again we have competed well and not wasted fans money. We have continued to introduce new facilities at Victoria Park and hope to complete a deal to purchase the ground from Hartlepool Borough Council in the not too distant future.

I have enclosed a season ticket application form for the new season, we all hope that you will continue to support the club, season ticket holders are a vital part of any football club and we value your custom highly. This year we have introduced a number of new incentives in an attempt to increase out home crowds and as a result our match day income.

As usual there will be a number of comings and goings throughout the summer and we have a packed pre-season campaign to look forward to, keep visiting the Hartlepool United official website for the most up to date news from your football club.
