what do I put?
self employed window cleaner,scared of heights

advice, [I'm thinking Grabec in the absense of Trimdon
well lets face it Dibble's worse than useless,chip's good at getting sacked :wink: ] please

Sorry, Salty, didn't see that till now.
For a start, you're underselling yourself. A self-employed window-cleaner has to organise customers, prioritise, be good with people, be reliable/efficient/hard working etc etc etc. You have to SAY all that...it impresses the sort of people that do interviews

Am afraid I'm hopeless at applying for jobs, tho, which is why I haven't got one...at least not one that pays money. The big problem for me with cvs is making the periods of employment look as tho they join up, but I usually get round that by giving years rather than months......ie if you say you left one job in 1996 and started the next in 1997, you needn't mention that you were on the dole from Feb 1996 to November 1997 ( :uhoh: )

Anyway, Mr I seems to know more about it than I do, so good luck
