I wached a messed up film last night

Dead Man's Shoe's - What a good film that is! I was dubious about it at 1st then it started and I was just took in by it, a Great Brittish film with a low budget. Paddy Considine is one hell'uva actor I must say!!!

If you haven't seen 'A Room For Romeo Brass' also by Shane Meadows get it watched....an even better performance by Paddy Considine!!!! :grin:

One of the sickest films I've seen recently is and Austrian one, called Dog Days.

Our lass made us stop the DVD before it stopped as it was really upsetting her, and she took it back to Blockbusters before I got chance to see the ending.

The description on the box gave no indication how nasty it was either.

It's Japanese - of course it's messed up. If you want a pseudo-messed up film then I suggest Oldboy, a brilliant Korean film about a bloke who gets locked up for 15 years for no apparent reason then gets released, given a mobile phone and a wallet full of cash, and a message from his captor that he has to find out why he was locked up. Absolutely genius with a few great twists.

Ichi the Killer isn't actually as gory as it sounds. I mean, it is, but it's a film you steel against very early. Probably the only gorefest I've genuinely enjoyed.

This Americanisation argument bullshit's already boring me, it's amazing how one line drop can spark a torrent of bile over the slightest phrase changes. Reminds me of fucking Rivals :roll:
