This weekend I take delivery of a new bike. I go rid of my last one some months ago and fancied another since the sun showed its face again.

This time I've gone for the Honda VFR 750 VTEC.

Here's the fella, a wonderful piece of engineering, only different is I've had the pearlescent black version.

didnt they do away with the ncd on bikes a few years ago

single sided swinging arm as opposed to blu tac/velcro/sticky back plastic will keep the wheel on

a dear departed friend of mine converted his fireblade to a single sided swinging arm that looked the dogs bollox

liked his ducati that was a lovely bike
(when it worked)

the R1 he had was just mental

They make most 'superbikes' one sided swing armed. even my little bike has a one sided swing arm....

Yes it is a single sided swingarm and yes other bikes copied them but the VFR was the first. R1's love them and in some ways I regret getting rid of mine but time moves on and I'm past R1's Fireblades etc. Mind you, the VFR is no slouch either.

When i can afford to do my bike test, my desired bike will either be a SuperMoto or a Y-R1.

That's all my Car Insurance is per year nowadays, with 25 years no claims.

You'll get about 50-100 quid through quidco.com for getting your car insurance through one of the companies on there.

Insurance for next to nothing!
