I still think the Bunker should serve as a further (more regular) accompaniment to the Bizz - articles about Pools and other stuff. It'd work quite well I think, although only during the season. It'd attract more readers too, especially given that the Rivals stories tend to be about FIVE DAYS LATE AND ALL IN CAPITAL LETTERS

I was a regular on his show, and enjoyed some good banter with him.

Will always remember a few winds up I got him with. Mainly the fact we were "docking" shortly. And the time he reckoned the fact one of supposedly went to a "tea room" on an away trip instead of the pub should be commended. He even stated his wife would have been proud he visited a "tea room" instead of a pub. Until I was off air and text him what a "tea room" was slang for.

We've been banging on about developing the site and bringing MB and the Bunker together seems a good idea. After all, a fair few of the regular scribes on the bizz are regular here too.

i think we should bombard tfm with emails telling them they have got it wrong jeff winter may have his faults but pools and the loids got more coverage on tfm than century and radio borer put together.
and it means dibbs and mr ed will have to buy tickets for pools now
and i will not be going back to joe rigatonis if i am expected to pay

I can let everyone know that it is true, I have just contacted Jeff. What a useless station don't they know the show was one of the best around for its content and promotion of non premiership football. Jeff says to wait and see we don't know what is round the corner. Best of Luck to him he is a top man and has put the lower league teams on the map.

It's typical of the media..... catering to the premiership or the 'music to stagnate to' element of their 'audience'...in their eyes, no matter how good the programme is, it's not fitting the image profile and must die. TFM will also now be eliminated from my preselect in the car radio....they obviously don't need me and I will return the compliment.
p.s....how come every radio programme on these 'Radio Bland' channels has to have this dual presenter charade where two personality lite tvvats chunter on about sod all and spend the entire programme 'convulsed' with mock laughter at their own 'humour'... do people actually listen or even care?
