........no one bothered? Suppose not.
No interest in Euro 2008. All I'm looking forward to are the fixtures against Leeds (again)
and Leicester

always intrested when england play, just gutted we are not there this summer as i think it makes the summer when we are are in euro or a world cup finals.
would of pissed it if it was not for that ginger smoggie piedo and i think its a total joke that the bbc are sending him there as panelist might be able to tell us where he went wrong.

But never mind bring on the V festival!

on tonights game cant take anything from it, looked pretty much men against boys. usa were bearly in it, gerrard, rooney played really well and i think its time gareth barry was giving the holding midfield spot reguarly, as i think he is better then hargreaves holding and going forward spraying the ball. i would shave a forward line off owen and crouch up top and rooney with a free role just behind them me self!

McLaren was let down by a bunch of overpaid tossers both on and off the pitch.
He was on a hiding to nothing from the moment he started, maybe you would have liked to win something, but be honest, didnt you just love being able to slag him off when he failed, just like the gutter press incited you to right from day 1.
I cant remember the last time I watched an England game & I really cant see a time in the near future that Ill be watching one either.

could you honestly say that the defence he picked against russia and croatia match was a world class defence? lescott left back? granted he had a.cole missing but he played shorey there who was brilliant a few games beforee then dropped him for a centre half, who showed why just beucause you score a few goals from centre half does not make you a good defender.

things such as the beckham fiasco, to say david beckham was not one of the best 22 players in england was madness and then to say after being asked why he had brought him back in,to come out with "because we really need to win these two games" meaning the 5 games before did not matter.

he should never been giving the job in the 1st place, just look at his track record granted he got the boro to european final but he was dead and buried in two of the games due to getting his tactics wrong and he was just very very very very lucky, when he brought five strikers on it worked for him and that is not good tactics thats just luck.

in my view he has robbed us our best chance of winning something since 66. because if we had went to the euros this summer for the 1st in a very long time we would of been able to choose from a almost fully fit squad for a championship!

I have no idea wot teams he picked for those games, but I do know that the country was full of people eager to stick the knife in.

i believe in his circumstances there was nothing else the public and press could do but call for his head.

he was the wrong choice from start to finish and the blokes who hired him should of handed the resiginations in with out hesitation!

He probably was the wrong choice initially, but once he was in he got no support at all.

the moggie failed in the opening qualifyers, he dropped becks, u can say what u like about him but he was at the time still a world class match winning player, he resigned the captancy, but said he would play, the moggie never picked him even for the squad, which cost him in the early games which we lost and drew, then picked him hoping he would drag him out the shit.............

Hmm where have we seen that again recently in the past season, a manager dropping his best players only in the end relying on them to dig him out the hole he dug......

only for the moggie the hole was to deep!!!!!!

The game last night, only watched it on telly like but I was surprised at the competence of the US team. It was a great passing movement out of defence and a great ball to let Gerrard in for his goal but even after that the americans were passing the ball well and pressing. You would've expected England to have totally dominated but they didn't and had to run and tackle and deal with being closed down very quickly. The headlines this morning say it was a comfortable win.....don't think so.

Personally I thought the game was utter cack, especially the England contribution. If last night's starting line up is supposed to be our best team we really are in dire straits.
I fail to see how anyone can find anything positive to say about about Rooney. He is a waste of a shirt.

No not Cisse. Never really delivered at Liverpool. Could run fast like but was always looking for an excuse for the reason he was just going to score and something stopped him y'know the ball bobbled or something.

He's still Lord of the Manor around here. His misses still lives up the hill from us. There's rumours he wants to get back to english footy.

This Cappello bloke is just the same as McClaren to me like!!!! confised

I thought he was going to sweep into the job and make wholesale changes and he hasn't!!!!

Every game I watch now I want England to get beat....I just can't appreciate or begin to like anyone who is on £100,000 a week and who is just an arrogant nasty shithouse!!!!

There's only the likes of Hargreaves who shows any decency and I think that's because he was brought up away from the premiershite and its 'stars'!!!! confised

What 'wholesale' changes can he make, in all honesty?

Play 1st divison players because they show 'passion'? passion can help, but really, only skill and wanting to win, like the Germans do, will win trophies

Sven is a good coach, Cappello is, but the FA/FL and Premiershite will stop him making the changes he wants to make, that along with the fact he cannot make the likes of Ferdinand and Lampard into world class players in a month!

He couldn't make Lampard into a world class player in a lifetime.

I tend to agree, but a good coach can make an average player into a good one, Pop Robson and Joe Allon anyone?

But Cappello is a world class coach, but it will take a generation to make England into World beaters, like I said the FA & Premiershite have far to much sway over what goes on at international level

Giving the young players a run out now and then would be a start!!!!

Beckham and others won't/shouldn't be around for the next World Cup so why insist on playing him/them in meaningless friendlies????

They wouldn't be so meaningless if he did give the fringe players and youngun's a run out!!!!sctatchinghead

Our younguns coming through, in my opinion, are nothing to get excited about.

It's because there not coming through that we have to revert to the oldies like Beckham, James and even Owen.
