I'm choosing not to go to the match on Saturday, by volunteering for work instead. Until the players shake themselves out of their psychological malaise at having to visit places like the Deva Stadium, Edgar Street etc, I'm not paying any more money to watch them. The club should be hard on these well-paid prima donnas but they aren't - so they don't deserve my money, so they are not getting it. At least I don't get to see another home game we should win, but probably won't.
Very, very, very, pi$$ed off right now because I can't see any light at the end of the tunnel with this lot of players. As soon as we can get shot of the wasters, past-its and never-have beens (too many to mention) and get at least adequate replacements, this season is looking like a write-off. Roll on January transfer window. banghead banghead banghead banghead banghead banghead banghead banghead banghead banghead banghead banghead banghead banghead banghead banghead banghead banghead banghead banghead banghead banghead banghead banghead banghead banghead banghead banghead banghead banghead banghead banghead

I was asked to work Saturday as well - could do as overtime or lieu time and get any other day off. They're desperate for someone to do it.
Its not me though.
There's no chance I would want to miss a Darlo game, regardless of how we are doing.
I dont expect it to be a classic though.

Parmooooooooooooo - i is shocked!

You've been all over watching pools when we were a lot shite than this.

and it's darlo - why dont you pull on that 'prada' jacket of yours and gan down church st and have a pint with the posturing well dressed mob?

you can't miss the darlo game surely - i've had to take a days holiday due to the shift patterns at work - and despite missing other games for whatever reasons - I dont think it matters how stuff is this game can not be missed.

reconsider

PARMO WILL WAKE UP.....the big day had dawned and he'll realise it's 'that day'.."I'm not going", the little voice in his head will be saying, reinforcing the message to make it seem realistic. But the gremlins will not be strong enough to silence the little Poolie thought Piranha's nibbling away at his mind and increasing their bites as the day wears on. Bigger bites, bigger nibbles. Then there's the flashbacks.... then the worst of all ...the thought that people are going through their pre match preparations till it all gets just too much, by 1 o'clock the build up is under way and Parmo will be distinctly uncomfortable under the surface as he enters the danger zone ...the GUILT becomes bigger and biggeras the 'fever' reaches it's climax....
IF WE LOSE....you feel sort of vindicated but unable to whinge beacuse you weren't there ...but if we win...... you have my deepest sympathies.

Don't go Parmo.

But practise being philosphical for when you peep between your fingers and see the scoreline Pools 4 Darlo 0.

The non attendance of Parmo will result in his being sentenced to spending 3 whole minutes naked in a dark room with PoolieKev. Graphite grease supplied.
