We have one comes round our area.

Can you be prosecuted for going the wrong way down a one way street on a horse and cart because he does it everytime he comes down my street.

No, but the horse can. sctatchinghead

Next week there'll be seventeen armed response units sealing off the area in case it's a Muslim convert horse hoping to blow himself up so he can have seven Lippizaner virgins in blown up heaven. Then there'll be a ban on horseshit for your roses in case it's Muslim horseshit.

if you are in charge of a horse and cart, you are allowed to have a piss against the back wheel of the cart. One of those never-repealed ancient by-laws , but it has a very good reason behind it. You are not allowed to leavea horse and cart unattended on a public highway.

They don't have horses any more, just some bloke with a can of Fosters dragging a wooden box on pram wheels. I thought they'd died out, but they're back in force recently

Benny Scully and his brother Chrissy who both lived in Charlotte Street used to operate round the Elwick Road area. Chrissy used to yodel after shouting Rag Bone.

RAG A BONE YODELEEEEEEEEITY.

And then there was that little feller with no teeth and a horse and cart who sold sticks for the fire.
