I can now officially announce that The Bizz has won the Football Pools-sponsored fanzine award, beating off competition from 'big' clubs and fan websites.

There will hopefully be stuff in the press on Friday, and Radio Tees are planning to do a feature on it too.

Thanks to everyone who contributes to it, everyone who voted for us, and everyone who buys it.

Aye, well done everyone. Come to think of it, I don't remember seeing another fanzine with articles from such a wide variety of deviants so there was no competition really.

Well done!

Best pic EVER in MB by the way, was the one of a bloke saying "Is that it like?" in relation to the materials required for building a new stand!!

(there was about half a dozen bricks!)

Could someone post that please, its a classic clappp

ok i will confess
it is not my couch
it is two cushions[not matching] on a chair i borrowed from a travelling chinese salesman
i could not show the whole chair as it is a celebrity and photos are copyright
what a way to bow out though ... clappp clappp clappp rolf rolf rolf
i would like to mention Dave our tight fisted accounts man [specialises in second class post] and
lets not forget the guys BOBBOS and LOL who took it to another level in their time at the helm, BILLYS CONTRACT alias John Raftery who has been there since its conception and takes some credit for the monkey bizz name, and is still contributing. and PIN for taking up the challenge [you sucker]
but one person i would like to mention in all this razzamatazz stuff is the late great Paul Mullen without him there would have been no bizz and recognition of his services will be properly commemerated in due course.

Many congratulations to everyone. It's no surprise, really, because it's an top-notch publication, but it's really good to see it getting the praise it deserves

Here

But I've just had an idea. Can I interview Cornelius for the next edition of the Bizz? It could be Part 1 of a series entitled,
'Dubious Hartlepool Denizens'

There's a link on the Mail website now. Although they've spelt 'league' wrong under the main picture. It couldn't be any other way!
