Who would be interested if Pools offered an Adult £100 season ticket based on a friend recommending them and that friend purchasing one at full price

Of course this would not apply to existing season ticket holders :-o

right it's coming to that time when i try to convince the missus that spending the best part of four hundred snodgers((c)mutters)is a good thing, considering the mood i was in after some games blaming the ref, wilson, budtz and anything else i could think of,so how would some of you do it?(convince her of course?).

So I suppose that if you find a friend, not easy if you're dibble, you could both combine the cost and pay half each.

which would then make it worth it for all those who live out of town and only get to 1/2 of the games.

also would avoid the stubs fiasco scenario

I've always thought money was exactly like sex, you thought of nothing else if you didn't have it and thought of other things if you did.

As for you 3 bastids, fame and riches are fleeting, stupidity is eternal.

So let me get this straight in my head.

If you're an existing season ticket holder you have to pay full whack (say c£350 based on last years prices) but if you didn't bother getting a season ticket last year then they'll sell you one this season for £100?

That seems a bit arse about face cos I'd be penalised to paying full price on the basis of being a season ticket holder for the last however many years, and somebody who paid on the gate all last season would pay about £250 less than me?

Can't be right.

If they do that then there is no way that there will be a season ticket in the Ripper house next year cos I don't see why I should pay less than some other fker for being loyal over the last however many seasons.

In fact I'd go as far as to say that if they introduced that crazy scheme I might stop going altogether out of principle- the principle that they're trying to make a mug out of their loyal fan base.

And anybody gives it the "but what if you go halves with somebody who hasn't had a season ticket recently" all of my mates who are interested in Pools are all season ticket holders so that wouldn't be an option. Even if it was an option it shouldn't have to be.

But lots of regular match-goers on here aren't season ticket holders. Have they never been your real mates, or are you just one of those bounders who dumps people on message board threads?

Like Ripper I have no mates without season tickets (well ok I have no mates!)

What about those poor unfortunate season ticket holders who don't frequent internet message boards & whose mates also own season tickets? Are they to be penalised? Sorry but I think its a shit idea

In this scenario, would I be allowed to count my wife as a friend?
