If you cut Foley's cock off he still couldn't get a game for them.

Unless his special friend Danny was picking the team.

Not in the slightest.

It'll be like Little Britain, some bits will be funny and others a bit boring.

I just hate the perception that anyone gives a fooook.

They may start a team, call the Hartlepool United Ladies, but they would still mean about as much to me as West Rugby Club.

Its a stupid pointless idea that will never take off.

Its like a different sport.

I don't care much either. But it puzzles me why Mr Lightening Tree has come on a message board to say that he doesn't care about it. Obviously a few layers of feeling, there

This sort of thing is a mystery to a lot of women. Heard of someone recently who said he would never read a book by a woman. Not only are good books written equally by both sexes I should think, but it's almost impossible to imagine a woman saying that about male writers

I just dont get it.

I mean are there really anyone, in the entire world, who actually cares about women's football?

If women can't generate media interest in sports they can actually play to a higher standard than men, netball being the only thing I can think of, then is it really likely the newspapers are going to go crazy over a sport they're so inept at as football?

Their bodies just aren't constructed for it.

They'd be better coming up with a sport their bodies are better equiped for, natterball or something.

I had the same argument when women were allowed to fix helicopters claiming they could do the same standard as the male equivalent. This was all well and good until they found they didn't have the strength to lift the rotor blades a job done at least twice a day, change an engine as it was too heavy or even grease the main gearbox as it was too dirty.

That's selective, though, isn't it? The requirements of this job are presumably that you should be strong enough to lift heavy things, which will rule out many a man, but will also include many a woman.

But my point was why do men so enjoy harping on about things that men are on average better than women at. And conversely, belittling things that women are on average better than men at?
Is it just something boring, like men have inferiority complexes??

No such inferiority complex in the Ripper household.

I fully admit that Mrs R is way better than me at ironing, hoovering, and general house cleaning and therefore let her crack on without any interference from me.

The main woman doing it is massively respected in ladies football and when i mentioned that pools were doing this to a lawho played for boro ladies she was quite 'excited' to see this gill involved ass she is one of the best women players ever.

This boro boro reckons she'll do well and that it should get a lot of interest.

Let them get on with it - i hope they do well.

Would that be 73 year-old Ron Flowers, who started his career with Doncaster youths, went on to fame with Wolverhampton Wanderers, and won 49 caps and scored 10 goals for England?

Gerrim in the Centenary Lounge quick!!

I agree with katcha.

If people aren't bothered about them then why slag them off before they have even started?

I hope they're successful and have nice breasts. bbolt bbolt

They should sign John Doolan from Rochdale then, I though he was big last year but did you see him when he came against the Loids on Saturday? He's put on another couple of clem.

Unbelievable moobs!

I'd amazed if he doesn't have to wear a sports bra with those hooters.

Forgot about that!

Massive wasn't he? Didn't look like a pro footballer. Darlo should sign him, half of them didn't look like pro footballers either!

I don't mean to sound sexist because I'm not. But women were designed for sex, childbearing, cooking, cleaning and getting their man's tea on the table ready for him to get back from a well earned pint after a hard shift.
