An unbelievably shit following for such a massive game, some are saying on rivals that they didn't even sell 2,000 sending around 100 back. The fans who went seemed to really get behind them but all season long people haven't turned out in numbers.

We could have probably sold the away end out three times at Tranmere the night we got to the play-off final.

i have said for years that us and the geordies ( as much as it pains me to say it!) are easy the best fans in the north east , i would love to know what our home attendence to away attendence ratio is and you just have to see the town when we get to the play offs ,a sea of blue and white

i told this smoggie about us taking 2000ish to rochdale last year like he was saying " no you did'nt like" but thats the calibre of them..idiots. 3000 to darlow aswell if they were top of the league by 20 points they still would not bring that here, even if we let them.

I thought we took more to Rochdale! We filled that stand out good and proper like...

Pools away support is better than Darlow's, end of. For a club getting the closest to promotion in 8 years, you'd've thought they'd have the stones to go 100 miles west whilst holding a 2-1 lead.

Even Sarf says it - Darlo fans in Darlo are shite.

Better than that, hepple.

3750 Poolies at Darlo
2978 Poolies at Rochdale

That's about a thousand less than ECG claimed

I know plenty of people who went in the Darlo end.

Because I was away and didn't have any stubs, me and my brother were two fans that couldn't get a seat in a stadium with 15,000 ornamental chairs.

Fucking joke!

I never forget the year we played at Bristol City in the play-offs. The apparent messiahs of the SW (yes those that will probably have 35,000 at wembley on saturday), brought about 500 up to our place on a SATURDAY and we took approx 1,300 down to them on a tuesday night!

I must add, the away support has been pretty decent this season too but not sure it will be the same next season unless peformances improve.

have to excuse me,mind is not what it used to be.i knew i was being conservative when i said it, just proves my point even more.

the figures are amazing 1200 to bristol on atuesday night (what a trip that was back), probs another 2500 at huddersfield last year to,crazy for an average home attendence of 5000ish
