Paul Arnison has been released from Carlisle..........does anyone think that he still could a job for us.....especially against the LDB......... rolfl

No, it was actually a serious comment, its a fairly universally accepted fact that we need a natural left back.

Seeing as Arnison is a right sided player I can't really see him slotting into the left back position

Bearing in mind that he lives on Granville Avenue I think it is a move he would be interested in. I also think that he would be good. But as a right back.

Not at left back. Why would we need one of those when we can use the best player at the club at full back?

After watching Arnison in the 1st leg of the playoffs i would say NO, he nearly scored two in his own net and he obviously went to the Keith Nobbs school of clearances :laugh:

Maybe but weve moved on a bit since then have we not, i prefer the full back to play it out of defence where possible.

Trouble is that our defence last season hardly ever gave themselves the chance to play it out of defence. Other than booting it back up to the centre circle for a kick off.

The lad Baptiste from Mansfield would be a better bet...
