Although these devices were being made in 1895 i doubt very much that this device actually dates from 1908
for a start the millhouse was hardly used as an entrance in the early days and they were fairly expensive for a club like pools to have - the millhouse was developed a lot in 1919 and i would imagine it's closer to that date but for deffo i would give a much more conservative estimate of post ww1, pre ww2 - although they were still being made in the 60s
however - £100 is a bargain - one from highbury went fo £400
