The worst experience I have had following Pools last night.

Not cos of the result, I'm well used to getting beat. We went down fighting and if the ref wasn't such an inadequate we would have had at least a point.

It was the fact that it took me an hour to travel 4 of the 20-odd miles between Nantwich and Chester. I got to the ground in time for the 4th official to indicate three minutes of added time at the end of the first half, shortly followed by a soft equaliser.

When I came off the M6 at 6.15 the sign said 30 miles to Chester. 'Nice one' I thought to myself - I could be outside the ground flogging Monkey Business by 7ish if I get me foot down.

Now I read a thing about Cheshire in the paper the other week, going on about that new TV series that's just started, and how it's one of the richest counties in the UK. Well they can stick it up their perfumed jacksies. It is now my least favourite county bar none. The roads are apalling.

In desperation at 7.15 I looked at the map and realised it would be nose to tail all the way in up the A51. Working out my average speed, I calculated it would take me till about 11pm to get to the ground. So I took a turn up some pitch black country lane and somehow found my way to the A54 at the first attempt. Finally I could get my foot down, and I reckoned I would only miss the first half hour. That is until I got to the city centre following the signs for Sealand Road, which soon took me on an extraordinary roadworks diversion seemingly via Wrexham and Birkenhead.

The only saving grace was that the steward only charged me a fiver to get in (which he pocketed the greedy bastad).

I can't remember the last time a car journey was so frustrating. I hate the countryside with it's winding narrow lanes, farm vehicles, unecessary speed cameras, poxy villages, lack of decent signage and horse shiit all over the roads.

I'm usually very laid back but I didn't kip at well last night, and I'm still really wound up. It's a good job that I'm going to the Nottingham beer festival this afternoon or I'd be head butting my house into tiny pieces.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHH!

If it's any consolation, today I hate football but especially I hate players such as Lee Bullock who is nothing but a w-a-n-ker, because he is bleeding money from this club under false pretences. Danny Wilson had better show some guile in the January transfer window and get the players we actually NEED desperately. Then we can finally bin rubbish such as Bullock, Proctor and Brackstone.

I fully concur.

I am thoroughly disenchanted with the shiit we are getting now. Too many excuses from the manager, too many weak as piss players, but worst of all, too many fans who seem to be happy with our lot. Paissionless bounders.

Having had the same old excuses for over a year now, I am also getting sick of them. However, on Friday, Danny was right to give the excuses and you couldn't have asked of anymore from them. We were conned by one of the worst refereeing performances ever.
