 Post subject: Car CD player help

I'm hopefully trading my car in tomorrow night and want to get the CD player out and stick the original radio back in. I know the square root of fook all about cars and want to get it out asap. Any suggestions? Would Halfords do it?

Im sure someone like Mr Bandage may be able to help, or even Mr Bus he knows a lot about cars and alot of people who know about cars.

behind where the front of the clip on bit there is screws you neeed unscrew and it will slide out.... well thats what our lasses does like

in the box that your cd player come in will be the bag with the instructions in. also in the bag will be 2 metal pieces probably about 3 inches long and about 2 mm thick these normally slide in where the fascia clips off
fully insert (oooh er missus) and then the player should slide out.
there will probably be 2/3 multi wired plugs on the back which you unplug along with the ariel lead and the set should be free.
then simply plug your old set back in and slide into place.
should be done in about 10/15 minutes :grin:
