Despite what some of the splitters are saying - well done. I salute you and you deserve the accolades.

Must've made your blood boil though Mr I, no doubt you'll be stepping up your one man crusade against him now, just what HAS he done to make you so negative towards him ? banghead

I think that's a bit harsh.

From where I'm sat Mr I's been more vocal in saying that Richie H isn't and never will be a proper left back, not that he isn't a good midfielder or good loyal servant to the club.

There seems to be a muddying of the water with people talking up extremes.

For the record I was pleased to see RH do so well last night and he is one of the best players I've had the privilege to see play for Pools. But I don't think that he's a left back either or that if he plays there next season we'll do any better than we have this. I'd love to see him play in midfield every week next season.

I think you'll find there have been more than a few occassions when he has made various insinuations regarding Ritchies dressing room influences, player power etc and it's been going on for a while now too.

Totally agree with you on this bit

Why is it if someone doesn't rate a player that everyone else loves they get hammered?

Mr I just might not rate him as a player, it's as simple as that, no vendetta, no one man crusade to rid the world of everything he stands for, just an opinion.

And you have a season ticket at Hartlepools A & E!

You've had that many injuries you shouldn't even be alive!

essentially there is one pools player that is above criticism in some folks eyes and thats ritchie.

anyone coming on here and suggesting he had an average game can expect to be rounded on by his fan club.

if mr i goes to one extreme over rh, i can name at least 5 that go to the other.

a lot of us are somewhere in the middle i.e think he is a really really nice bloke, a loyal club servant, and a half decent third division footballer who is very popular with the fans.

fair play to him for getting those awards, but theres no way on gods earth anyone will ever convince me he is a top quality left back.

I concur.

I'd still like to see him play midfield every week next season. RH and Liddle could be a great pairing.
